Anne Arundel County Office of Planning and Zoning supports the rezoning of the Pasadena Golf Center property, which would bring multi-unit housing to an area zoned low density. Shirts and yard sign proceeds will pay for hosting the website, printing of community letters and background materials for the Council, and other - we hope - buses to show up at the public hearing to oppose the rezoning efforts.

The Anne Arundel County Council published two bills pertaining to Region 4 Comprehensive Rezoning.

Learn more about Anne Arundel County's Region 4 Plans. The proposed Region 4 Plan is slated for release sometime this Spring.
In Maryland, zoning must be consistent with planned land use. In 2021, the AACo Council adopted the Plan2040 Planned Land Use Map. The County is conducting comprehensive zoning in tandem with Region Plans. Regions 2, 4, and 7 will undergo comprehensive zoning starting in 2023.
